I'm glad you're here. I'm Mark, a Boise native, and a one-man, one-stop shop for anything visual or audible.
On the visual side, I've been producing, directing, shooting, editing, mixing, and delivering finished work for over 15 years. Everything from raw ungraded footage to fully edited, color graded, and audio-mixed final deliverables (and everything in between). I'm fluent in the Adobe suite and comfortable in any role a production demands.
On set, I've mixed and boomed for feature films, run timecode, and hidden lav mics (though if given the option, I always reach for an MKH50 or 416). In post production, I take that audio the rest of the way. As a musician and recording artist, I've composed, written, recorded, and mixed original music for other artists and for film.
With a camera in hand, I'm drawn to authentic images (portraits especially) where the aim is atmosphere and true likeness. I don't over-edit and I create the kind of environment where talent feels comfortable and seen.

Production
I've been the Media Chair for Boise Entrepreneur Week since 2019. BEW is the largest entrepreneurial event in Idaho; a high-energy, 5-day celebration of the people building Idaho's startup ecosystem. Every year I produce, direct, livestream pitch competitions, and edit/mix the recap videos. It's one of the most demanding and rewarding productions I do, and I become more proud of our community every year.

Photographed the Boise Entrepreneur Week Semi Finals event at BSU's business building. Captured a combination of the event as well as headshots of all the semi finalists.
Photography
High Desert Gear had me shoot some product photography for their summer and fall lineup. Really great day and was able to knock out plenty of deliverables to satisfy their Q2/Q3 social media posts.
Production
BoiseDev hired me to produce and direct media for their Peak 43 event, Idaho's fastest-growing companies event, starting with its inaugural 2024 edition. I build the crew, direct the shoot, run photo coverage, and deliver a fully edited event video and sizzle reel the next morning. That turnaround is the part I'm most proud of: a full production day compressed into one overnight edit cycle, ready before the news cycle moves on.
Production
Micron Technology had several production needs tied to their AI and data center initiatives, from custom music composition and sound design to on-set audio and camera work. Each project called for something a little different.
Commercial
I was approached by Parsons Behle & Latimer to produce a commercial to play during Boise Entrepreneur Week's live broadcast. 1/2 days shoot with 2 interviews and 2 day turnaround.
Photography
Once or twice a year I head down to Trailhead in downtown Boise and offer headshots to the members. It's a quick, low-key session — natural light, minimal setup, and an image that actually looks like them. Click any photo to expand.

High Desert Gear is a Boise-based outdoor retailer built around the idea that good gear unlocks better adventures. I was brought in to capture and edit their products in their element, out of the store and in the real world.
